Weekend Family Fun at the Bata Shoe Museum!
Parents, the next time you hear "There’s nothing to do!" bring your children aged 3 to 9 over to the Museum for some family fun! Every Saturday and Sunday there are try on shoes and shoe hunts in the galleries! As well there are different family activities on a three week rotation. Week one is paint a mini-clog, week two is a shoe-themed arts and crafts activity, and week three is a family movie. Check back often to see what's happening on the weekend you're planning to visit!

Let your inner shoe artist out when you paint your own, one of a kind, mini-clog. This program is drop-in all day on Saturday and Sundays of Week One. An extra charge of $2.00 per mini clog applies.

Shoe themed arts and crafts
Week two features fun and easy arts and crafts activites. Sequins, sparkles, tissue paper, pompoms...who knows what kind of shoe designer you can be! This program is drop-in all day on Saturday and Sundays of Week Two. Included with museum admission.

May 5th and 6th - Let your inner shoe designer out! Get inspired by some of our favourite shoe pictures and create and decorate your own! 
Family Movie Series
Relax in our St. Crispins Studio as the kids take in some of our favourite family movies. Currently we are showing movies based on some of our favourite classic children's books! Two showings on Saturday and one on Sunday. Included with Museum admission and feel free to bring your favourite snacks!

This fun-filled children's classic features Dick Van Dyke as a hapless inventor who finally finds success with a flying car, which a dictator from a foreign government sets out to take for himself

Join us in celebrating May is Museum Month with a special family activity all month long!
Create a mini-shoe portrait and then attach it to our giant shoe canvas in the B1 foyer. Every week we will pick our top ten favourite portraits and showcase them on our Facebook page!
A "Puss in Boots" Weekend!
Join us over the May Victoria Day long weekend as we celebrate one of our favourite feline movie characters! We will be showing the 2011 DreamWorks Animation hit film "Puss in Boots" at selected times throughout the weekend and be offering a fun kid craft inspired by the movie!
