Membership gives you and your family the opportunity to explore the culture and customs of people from around the world through a series of permanent and changing exhibitions. With more that 12,000 artifacts in its collection, the Museum is the largest in the world exclusively devoted to shoes.

As a member you can visit as often as you like for free. Come back again and again to take part in programs, lectures, family activities, hands-on workshops, tours, exhbition openings and special events. You'll also receive Footnotes, our newsletter, full of shoe lore and information on current activities. Discounts on purchases in the Museum Shop and other savings means that membership is as practical as it is rewarding.

Membership Levels

Individual Membership - $60

Student Membership(Full-time with ID) - $40

Senior Membership (65+) - $50

Out of Town Membership (more than 100 km outside of Toronto) - $50

Family/Dual Membership - $80
(includes a second membership card and admission for up to 2 adults and 4 children)

    Contributing Membership - $500-999

    All regular membership benefits plus:

  • Second membership card and admission for up to 2 adults and 4 children
  • Guest privileges (one per card per visit)
  • Curator's lecture
  • Free admission to participating North American Reciprocal Museums
  • Invitations to selected events and exhibition openings
  • Tax receipt for the eligible portion of your membership
  • Recognition in Museum publications
  • Private docent-led tour for up to ten people
  • Complimentary individual membership for recipient of your choice
